Hosting
Once your site has been designed, it must be loaded onto a computer
that is permanently and reliably connected to the Internet. It is

high-speed, resilient communication links. Wych/Host offers a complete
hosting solution with superior technology, features and reliability
free to our customers for the first year.
The normal annual rental for this service is £150.00 per annum

Our servers use Windows 2000. This is the most scalable platform
for hosting on the Internet. Our standard hosting package includes:

Our servers reside in a data centre that has three Internet connections,
running at 8 Mb/s. This is over four times that of the closest competitors.
Each connection is accessed on gigabit fibre, allowing the bandwidth
to be instantly upgraded when required. The data centre’s
connections are also diversely routed to different telephone exchanges
allowing it to cope with the most severe physical disasters.
BT Internet who has more points of presence and the highest capacity
broadband IP network in the UK provides the Internet connectivity.
The secondary provider is Telewest Communications who’s Internet
Network is 100% independent of BT's. There is A 34 Mbit line directly
into LINX is which adds even more speed and redundancy to UK customers.
The data centre spends over half a million pounds a year on Internet
connectivity, ensuring your site appears in front of your clients
very quickly. They use the latest Intel and Cisco switching equipment
and routers.
